Sheila muahahahah that took, give or take a few months, two years. I stop and start a lot of projects and sometimes i will stop for a year. So it would take five years for me to do it LMAO

So, did you send the photo away and have the pattern made, or did you buy the computer program to do it yourself? I enjoy doing cross-stitch, but like you, I have to stop and work on something else for a while. I have a huge one in the works somewhere, but I don't think I've touched it since last March or April.

Very nice work!

Looks awesome!!!

I've started many of them over the years, and just can not seem to finish them. I should bring them out and finish them.

Sheila LOL

FlipFlop I look forward to haveing the other boys faces done so i can hang them up

Catch there are places where you can send a photo and they will send you back a pattern. but for this one i used an online program to make the pattern

Kathrine all i did was follow a pattern, and a pattern i didnt make myself, so not very creative at all

Blogarita a few years ago i sent away a wedding photo and have yet to start it even, but for this one i did an online pattern maker. I dont buy them , i download the free trials LOL

Fantastagirl i know, you have to be in the mood to work on them. this one i had on a shelf for over a year, and just in the last week i finished it off.

Finn its mindless and repetitive so its a good way to unwind when the kids are kick ass annoying

Holy shit girl, that's awesome!! I don't have good enough eyes, drives me insane. And the last time I bought a needlework pattern I took it out of the package, looked at it...put it back in & gave it away. heh. Give me a sewing machine or power tool any day.

Blue, that is just beautiful. I know the difficulty it involves. Is that a t-shirt or is it a wall hanging?
