Dear Winter,

I am writing this letter to request cancellation of my membership in your club, effective immediately. I expect that after receiving this cancellation letter you will refund the unused portion of my Summer to me immediately. I am enclosing my membership card for your disposal.

Thank you,

BluePaintRed

Due to extreme cold, this blog has been canceled* in favor of a hot bath.

How cold is it?

*Just for tonight cus I was out in this**.

And yes I do know I should stop the car, get out and take the picture, but 1. I am Teh Lazy and 2. It's fucking cold!

** not my picture. I uploaded mine and it is too blurry to see anything so I picked one from Google that looked as close as possible to what I was driving in all evening. I already had the part up there written and it seemed easier to write a not my picture disclaimer than to re word the sentence. In retrospect? I could have been in the tub five sentences ago!

I'm kinda expecting stuff like that this year. We had a mild winter and summer this past year and spring was non existent.

It scares me. I don't like it when it's cold and yucky.

And you can't cancel your blog on account of weather. Ok?

One of the few good things about working athome is that I almost never have to drive in that. I can always reschedule most apointments. It shows great dedication that you blogged after dealing with that.

Robin well, the car does warm up fast, but i had to walk from it to coffee and then, after coffee it took like ten minutes of shivering before it got warm again!

How about you move your family into my house where it is currently 70 degrees and sunny, and I will move my family into yours where it is -26 and snowy? Just for the winter, though.

I love the cold and the snow, but we don't get it here. (It gets cold sometimes, like 45 during the day, and 32 degrees at night, but the last snow accumulation was in 1989.)

If the letter works, let me know. PURE ice to drive 22 miles to work on this morning. 20 mph. I saw 6 cars & trucks in the ditch, and lights & sirens off on another highway.

Didn't I JUST get done bitching about the heat?

*sigh*
*le sigh*

I am here to verify your picture. Indeed, I, fracas, am stupid enough to also live where blupaintred lives and can attest to the fact that although it is cold enough to create the kind of rock-hard nipples all men dream of their women having, they can't enjoy them because we have to wear so many damn parkas and scarves and bunny hugs (what's up with all you weirdos calling them hoodies?) to try keep those same nipples from bloody well falling off.

Hate. Winter. I.
