Thing that make you go Hmmm

EDIT: I have an appointment with my Doctor for October 23

I woke up this morning and my legs were asleep to mid thigh. I wish I had known that before I threw myself out of bed, tried to stand and went face first into the wall. It's just not my favorite way to wake up!

FYI: my favorite way to wake up is about 1 pm, with coffee fresh, hot and waiting for me.

Unfortunately this is happening more and more often. Not just at night but during the day as well. In fact, right now as I am typing, I can feel my left hand starting to go numb. It's resting on the keyboardy thingy where you type, not still, 'cus DUH, I am typing, but still that light pressure is enough that is going numb.

I think the worst is at night when I lay in bed on my back. Every part of me that touches the bed, from the back of my head to the heels of my feet, goes numb in a matter of minutes. I turn over and the side I am laying on goes numb. Turn the other way, no surprises there, numb again.

I am beginning to think I have some sort of circulation problem.

Sounds like a compressed disc or a pinched nerve...could be, anyhow. That's what mine was when the same thing happened to me. And the thing is...nothing but good ole narcotics can help.

I'm in the same boat, I have really bad circulation problems. Some nights my legs and arms get so bad it's nearly unbearable. I also find my feet and hands are cold when they shouldn't be.

Ya, it totally sounds like a circulation problem. Have you tried putting your feet up at night? I am told this help all the blood flow make it back to the right places. (Both of my parents are medical) They say you should try and put your feet up before you go to bed like just high enough to be above your heart to move everything back the right way.
